Services and Facilities There are two working roundpens, an arena and a washrack at the barn. Our property is laced with trails and two exit trails provide access to many 1.5 to 6 hour loop rides or days of horse camping. We offer grooming and excercising as well as full-scale training, health care regimes for horses needing treatment and around the clock surveillance.

Stall Boarding

Our stalls are 12x12 with 12x16 paddocks attached. Stall boarding is full care including feeding and watering, stall cleaning and options for grooming and excercising while you are away. Working roundpens washrack, arena and trails are close by. Call or email us for a quote.

TurnoutBoarding

Our large paddocks are set in the shelter of the pine forest. Horses are housed in like age/gender groups from 5-12 individuals and ample space to kick up their heels. Working roundpens, washrack, tieracks arena and trails are close by. Call or email us for a quote.

Whispering Pines Stables is located just outside Susanville, California on Highway 36 West. We are minutes away from Eagle Lake and Lake Almanour, as well as the Litchfield BLM Mustang Station, Lassen National Park, Antelope Lake, Honey Lake, and many other exciting riding places in the High Desert, Sierras, and Cascade Mountains. Nearby riding possibilities include foxhunting, gymkhana, trail riding, endurance and horse camping as well as local shows, parades and clinics. b
